NOT by social media comment or message. When you phone us for your reservation, it is dealt with immediately and without confusion. We're pleased to say that these evenings are becoming very popular. So much so that we often have a waiting list for people who want to join us. We may phone you on the Thursday prior to your booking date to confirm your reservation. If you are put on the waiting list when you book, should a table become free for any reason we will phone you to offer the opportunity to dine with us. Al Fresco dining The Hermanus weather is often kind to us, but we are in autumn and the evenings can be a little cool. So do remember to bring something warm for your shoulders. Our regular visitors will know that the Courtyard is looking quite nice now. It has been gradually evolving for 2 years now, and we know that it will carry on evolving, just like the rest of the Deli. Our signature "Chef's Choice Menu" Many people have asked about our "Chef's Choice Menu". They usually ask why we don't publish each menu before the event? The Deli Dining menu must remain a closely guarded secret. It's a matter of Notional Security. Spys are everywhere, waiting in the shadows for the opportunity to steal our secret recipes. The menu must remain classified until the doors open for evening dining. Only then will it be revealed on a "Need-to-know" basis only.
